Climate Change

We have to act now before our planet is irreversibly damaged

The increase in the concentration of carbon dioxide in the earth's atmosphere is responsible for climate change which has become a global issue. Governments agree that mobilizing stronger and more ambitious climate action is urgently required to achieve a reduction in global warming due to the vast amounts of CO2 released in the atmosphere and its ability to trap heat. Trapped heat in the atmosphere is responsible for climate change which is becoming more visible and mainstream. The latest extreme weather conditions and heatwaves sweeping across the world is seeing the hottest average spring and summer temperatures on record in over a century, with some the hottest temperatures recorded in years.

Governments, cities, regions, businesses and investors all have a role to play in effectively implementing a plan to reverse climate change. The United Nations Climate Neutral Now Initiative promotes voluntary action on climate change by encouraging and supporting organizations and other interested stakeholders to act now in order to achieve a climate neutral world by 2050.

Planting trees is one of the best ways to help reverse climate change, the UK alone needs to plant over 1½ billion more trees to become carbon neutral. The Paulownia tree's ability to capture significant amounts of carbon dioxide and produce large amounts of oxygen makes it the Green Investment Corporation tree of choice to plant. To facilitate planting a large number of Paulownia trees the Green Investment Corporation is offering private individuals and companies high return green investment opportunities.
